Today’s stats: #164 in parenting and 3924 overall. I added more tag words yesterday and joined a few groups. I still haven’t figured out how to add or what exactly link backs are. I have information overload. I want to figure it out right now! Next on my to do list is figuring out how to make some money!

I think this is what you are talking about when you say “back links”…you want to get other, related sites to link back to your lens. It makes it seem like an authority to search engines like Google. For instance if your lens was about kitchen knives then getting other sites about kitchen related products, cooking, and so forth to link back to you is good. The more back links the better your lens will do in search engine traffic.
There are many ways to get backlinks. Particpating in related forums and including a link to your lens in your signature is one way. Writing articles on related topics and using a link to your lens in your Author bio or resource box is another. Including a link to your lens in blogs that you write is and submitting your link to related directories or to directories with an appropriate category work also. You just have to be careful not to “spam” with your link…don’t put it where it’s not welcome.

That is what I am trying to say, only you said it better! I am trying hard not to spam and I will never do it intentionally. Heck, I have been afraid to put a link to my lens when I am leaving comments on other lenses for fear someone will think I am leaving a comment purely to get them to my site.
Now I just saw….what is a resource box? I seem to have missed that one.
